The world famous play by Ray Cooney, concerns London cab driver John Smith, with two wives, two lives and a very precise schedule for juggling them both, with one wife at home in Streatham and another at home in Wimbledon.
A play rendition and dedication to Tom's father Chris Stabb, whose theatre company 'Garth Productions', performed 'Run For Your Wife', all over the UK - with original members Martin Kingston, John Palmer and Tom Stabb stepping into the role of 'Detective Troughton'.
"The newly-formed Exeter group served up an infusion of old-fashioned quips, one-liners and slapstick, and judging by the audience’s chuckles, they hit the spot. More could have been done to give this dated comedy the kick into 2015 it so desperately needs, but if a good old-fashioned knees-up was the aim, Middle Weight Theatre certainly hit the ground running".
